After almost a year of no Bre news circling around, I was beginning to think this fansite was rotting away for the lack of updates until I found this interview with the Celebrity Cafe in my inbox. Maybe this means we'll be seeing more of her? Hope so!

Bre's mother passed away (posted 8-3-09)
I am sad to announce that according to Bre Morgan's Management Team, Bre's mother Nadia passed away Friday in Burbank, California from a brain aneurism. You can still send your condolences to Bre however she will not see them right away which is understandable. This has got to be really hard for her, as young as she is. I could not imagine how painful it must feel to lose someone that close to you.

Bre posted two new concert dates. Both are in Wildwood, New Jersey and presented by Radio Disney. She also put up some pictures on her MySpace from her latest concert at Golden Valley High School. Check 'em out:

So if you guys have not yet heard, Bre unfortunately did not win Radio Disney's Next Big Thing competition. As much as it would be great to have seen her win, you definitely won't be seeing the last of her. Check out her MySpace blog post below. Also check out our brand new forums!

A lot of people have asked me how NBT went. Well, it was an amazing opportunity for me and all 11 contestants that were fortunate enough to be involved. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate all the support you have shown me over the past few months of the NBT promotion. The promotion exposed me to an all new audience and is the reason I have been able to connect to so many wonderful people such as YOU reading this now.
As many of you know, the winners were announced yesterday and the winners of Radio Disney’s Next Big Thing are (drum roll please) Jonnie and Brookie. I wish them all the best and I am sure you will be hearing a lot about them in the coming months. They are terrific girls with a great stage presence and if you haven’t already, you should check them out.
Now, some have asked…where do I go from here? Trust me; you haven’t heard the last of Bre Morgan. I am writing some new songs, experimenting with new ideas, and I am going to continue to do what I love to do-make music. Keep your ears open, you never know when you might catch a song of mine on a radio near you!!!

New Concert Date, Radio Disney NBT Voting is Over (posted 4-24-09)
Voting for Radio's Disney's NBT is officially over. They'll be announcing the winner this Monday (4-27-09) at 6pm EST on Radio Disney so tune in and keep your fingers crossed! Bre also has another new concert coming up in Meritt Island Florida. Check the left sidebar for more information.

Bre posted a new video on YouTube of her shouting out and thanking people for all of the voting support on Radio Disney. It's about six and a half minutes so hang in there.

Bre has a few new videos this time. Two of them are covers (The Show by Lenka and The Climb by Miley Cyrus), one is her just having fun with the song Numa Numa, and the last one is her and a girl named Priscilla singing a little bit of Damaged by Danity Kane acapella. Bre is also going to be preforming a free private show at Milliken's Reef on Sunday, April 19 at 4:30pm in Port Canaveral, Florida

Bre has a new concert coming up at the end of this month at the Funzone in Farmingdale. In addition to performing some acoustic songs, she will be doing a meet and greet with autograph signings.
